How to Speed Up Globe Tattoo Stick E153

This is a question given by George Umalis from General Santos City, Philippines.

He is a friend here in the Philippines which has a Globe Tattoo kit. It is like a USB drive with a SIM card and a memory slot in it. I believe it was an old model with the number E153 at the back. He wants to use it to access the internet, specifically to chat with his relatives abroad using Skype and Facebook. Of course, he does not want to use it regularly but he wants me to increase the speed of the kit every time he uses it knowing it is just a wireless internet provider.

The best solution for this is to optimize the computer for internet browsing, subscribing to a more stable internet promo rate by Globe, and the proper placement of the Tattoo stick for greater signal quality.

Tools needed for the project:

Advanced System Optimizer (Internet boosting software)
Globe Tattoo Stick E153 or the 2010 model
A well-ventilated room
A USB extension cable (the longer the better)

How to Speed Up?

STEP 1: Tattoo Installation (Skip this if you already installed Globe Tattoo software once)

1. Insert the Globe Tattoo stick to the female part of the USB extension cable and insert the male end to a USB slot at the back of a PC or any USB slot of a laptop. Choosing the back USB slot of a PC well give you an advantage of faster data transfer rate.
2. A window will open and then RUN the installer. If no window will show up after inserting the stick, go to MY COMPUTER then run the installer in the newly detected device. I suggest you use Windows 7 for faster device detection.
3. It will only take seconds to install the software and then after that it will open up. We will deal with the use of the extension cable later.

STEP 2: Internet Boosting Process (Globe Tattoo stick already connected)

1. Run the Advanced System Optimizer software.
2. Go to Smart PC Care menu. Start Scan, wait until the software finish scanning for problems, and then press OPTIMIZE. The software will do everything for like magic.
3. Your computer is now optimized to process online data and you are now ready to connect to the internet.

STEP 3: Ventilation and Elevation

1. Choose a well-ventilated room to stay if you want to connect to the internet. Then, this is the part why you need the USB extension cable, find a good place on your ceiling preferably near the ventilation and secure the Globe Tattoo stick in there by a plastic strap. This is like setting up an antenna for your TV. The higher it can go using the extension cable the better.
2. The reason for number is 1 is that you need to have the maximum signal quality and consistency in order to take advantage of the 3G technology, which is a faster wireless internet transfer system.
3. A stable place for your PC or laptop while connected to a suspended antenna system (Globe Tattoo Stick) will be very helpful.

STEP 4: Connecting

1. In the Globe Tattoo software, choose the prepaid option (be sure to load up your kit, more details about loading here). I suggest you to take advantage of Globe’s 24 hours unlimited internet offers for stability and consistency of connection.
2. Press CONNECT and wait for a while until the software prompts you to start browsing because you are already connected online. If the green light keeps on flashing in the kit, it means you have a 3G connection. If other colors appear, transfer your Globe stick to a higher or more breathable space of your room until 3G signal stabilize.

This project gives you three reasons why your Internet connection will be optimized:

1. Your computer will process data faster especially online processes.
2. You have a stable and powerful signal quality.
3. Unlimited internet time purchases are sometimes favored with faster speeds by Globe.

How to fix Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Cooler Noise

My six-core rig is now running but I have problems with the AMD stock cooler. It seems that my motherboard’s (Gigabyte GA 890GPA-UD3H) CPU fan control push the fans speed to higher limits that it starts to make noise when the computer runs for a longer time or when it starts. I have already used the Easy Tune 6 utility from Gigabyte and though I controlled the speed of the fans, it will still run up to 6000 rpm when the computer boots. Therefore, I decided to find a quieter CPU cooler. I ran to the computer shop and the only CPU cooler that they have is the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. I was only thinking of an air cooler but the time I saw the box, I was indulge to it. Liquid cooling system is not really my first choice because it is more expensive. However, we the alarming noise I am experiencing on my new six-core PC, I have no reason not to buy it. I admit the installation manual and even the forums I read on the internet were a little bit confusing, but I still managed to instal

How To Install Steam OS Without UEFI motherboard

I will teach you how to install Steam OS into your motherboard that does not have UEFI bios. The default Steam OS installation requires UEFI bios or it will not work. I did some Googling and found a way to bypass that and everything works perfectly afterwards. It is just slightly more difficult but do not worry. For those who do not know what steam OS is, it is an operating system created by Valve. It is a Linux with Debian Weezy on top and can run Linux programs if you want to.
