How to Play CrossFire Philippines like a Pro (Tutorial with video)

CrossFire Philippines is an online first person shooting game which resembles the old CounterStrike. However, this online game has lots of purchasable items and you can create a character or an account which will increase in rank every time you play. Missions and Clan Wars are also key parts of this game in which players could play up to 8 versus 8 persons divided in two teams – blacklist and global risks.

SmileGate developed the game from Korea which is known to be a great developer of this sort of games. Neowiz made it available around the globe and Gameclub published it here in the Philippines.

This game became very famous and attractive to online gamers because of its graphics quality (realistic environment and effects) and the creation of personal accounts. I believe lots of young ones in the country are getting addicted with this game. What I really love with this game is the ranking. I am now a “Captain” in this game and it always makes me feel good to increase my level day by day.

How to create an account?

Just go to cf.ph.gamelcub.com and press REGISTER at the upper right side of the site. Registering an account is like signing a Facebook account, so I believe it would be very easy for you. Just secure a good password and easy to remember details in case you need an account retrieval in the future.

How to install the Game?

There are issues in installing and updating this game. So, I advise you whether it’s your first time or just updating to get downloads in this link. Just read the instruction on where and what to download first. I also suggest that you use Microsoft Security Essentials as an antivirus because it will not disrupt the installation and even the game.

How to play like a Pro?

As rankings or levels, and even clans are involved, playing like a pro is always an advantage. But, how could you do it? Well, the first question to answer must be, “Is it possible that there is a tutorial on how to play this game expertly?” The answer is YES and here are my tips for you because it is not just more on hand or concentration skills.

First, you bet a PC for gaming. Don’t even bother to play it on a PC without video card because you will just end up gaining a “VERY BAD” honor. Here is my PC specification where I play CF:

AMD Athlon Dual Core 3.00 GHz Processor
2 GB of RAM
1 GB NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT

Similar hardware or greater than that is the best PC setup for a quality CrossFire gaming. Lesser than that means don’t even expect to have good scores.

Second, considering that you have this kind of PC and you already installed CrossFire, to obtain the coolest gaming experience you need to adjust the settings just like this:

For the VIDEO settings:

Resolution - 1024 x 768 n
Color - 32 bit
Texture – Low (because you don’t want to experience client errors most of the time).
Select Screen – whatever you want.
Turn on all the effects and choose HIGH for the options. This will be a great advantage.

For the SOUND settings:

Turn on all of the options and give them 100% for sensitive hearing while on game.

For the CONTROL settings:

Set the mouse sensitivity to 22% and set the zoom sensitivity to 40% to achieve fast and accurate movements and shooting.

For the MISC settings:

Green Type C crosshair works for me.

The third is the people ware part. I warn you that this takes extra effort because you can only achieve this through constant practice or playing especially with competitive opponents. These are the needed skills for you to become superior with others:

  1. Planning – you need to plan your way to the bombsite or if you are in the global risk side, to defend the sites. Being sensitive to your team needs and flexible to what’s needed at that moment will give you lots of advantage in this game.
  2. Bunny Jumping – You can achieve this by pressing CTRL and W while jumping. It requires timing and a straight path. This is an advantage because it will make you faster, quieter, and hard to aim to.
  3. Choosing the right weapons for right place - Snipers and rifles are powerful in long distances. Sub machine guns are very useful in close combat maps.
  4. Choosing the right place to plant the bomb if you are in the Blacklist side - Good placing of the bomb will give you enough room to secure its explosion and at the same time defend yourself.
  5. Climbing on tall boxes and walls -Hiding on those places will give you extra advantage. You can achieve this through double jumping (pressing SPACE BAR two times) or pressing W and S while jumping.
  6. Side stepping - while you are facing your enemy while shooting. This will make you hard to target.
  7. Choosing the right place to camp while defending the bomb sites if you are a Global Risk member – I usually do camping when I am left alone in a Destruction Mode game.
  8. Proper shooting techniques – Rifles should be fired by clicking the mouse consecutively and SMGs should be fired by a single press of the mouse.
  9. Study the moves of great players and try to imitate them - There is no better advantage than learning your strengths and weakness of your opponents.

Lastly, buying ECOINS (currency of the game which is purchasable by real money) will serve you a lot. There are special weapons and items only available through ECOIN purchases, such as: Kriss Super V, armors, special characters, and XP boosts.

How to fix Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Cooler Noise

My six-core rig is now running but I have problems with the AMD stock cooler. It seems that my motherboard’s (Gigabyte GA 890GPA-UD3H) CPU fan control push the fans speed to higher limits that it starts to make noise when the computer runs for a longer time or when it starts. I have already used the Easy Tune 6 utility from Gigabyte and though I controlled the speed of the fans, it will still run up to 6000 rpm when the computer boots. Therefore, I decided to find a quieter CPU cooler. I ran to the computer shop and the only CPU cooler that they have is the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. I was only thinking of an air cooler but the time I saw the box, I was indulge to it. Liquid cooling system is not really my first choice because it is more expensive. However, we the alarming noise I am experiencing on my new six-core PC, I have no reason not to buy it. I admit the installation manual and even the forums I read on the internet were a little bit confusing, but I still managed to instal

How To Install Steam OS Without UEFI motherboard

I will teach you how to install Steam OS into your motherboard that does not have UEFI bios. The default Steam OS installation requires UEFI bios or it will not work. I did some Googling and found a way to bypass that and everything works perfectly afterwards. It is just slightly more difficult but do not worry. For those who do not know what steam OS is, it is an operating system created by Valve. It is a Linux with Debian Weezy on top and can run Linux programs if you want to.
