Phanteks Enthoo Primo Review and Features

This my review and discussion of the features of the Phantex Enthoo Primo. Some people have been asking me for this for a while and here it is. We'll start with packaging, it comes in a box which you may or may not expected. It is also got some nice closed-cell foam because of how heavy this case is, and especially how heavy this is going to be once it is laden with hardware. This thing's really heavy. I wouldn't mind if it's a little bit thicker foam like what Silverstone does with some of their high end cases but it should pretty much arrive in one piece even with a system inside in most cases.

Accessories

Let’s start with the accessories. Inside the little accessories box such included, you get a radiator bracket. This allows you to install up to a dual 120 millimeter radiator on the side if you're willing to remove the hard drive cages. Don't worry there will still be SSD mounts. You will also get a nice little kit full of screws. It's got little compartments for all the different kinds of screws that come with the case. It’s amazing how many different kinds of crews are used on this case. It actually has more than the 10 compartments worth a different screws but I discovered when I undid the reservoir mounting bracket that was actually inside in the first place. It was unfortunately useless if you have a gaming grade graphics card that's on a normal length because it's going to interfere with that anyway. The good news is that there are other places that you can mount your radiator without any difficulty. Finally, we've got the rest of the accessories. We've got two little foam pieces in case you want to install a second power supply in the Enthoo Primo, and then some zip ties as well as two more Velcro straps in addition to the ones that are inside the case.

The Outside

So let’s start with the outside. I didn't really like the front of the face before it was powered on and much before it has an entire system in it. It's got a gorgeous brushed aluminum finish. Now this is a bit of a double-edged sword because it looks great on the box but if you get fingerprints on it, it can stay in overtime so just make sure you’re careful with it. And, it has a blue LED strip illuminating not only the front but also the top and then if you remove the front cover it's actually got to blue LED fans that give a very pleasing glow to the front of the case as well. The great news about all these LEDs is that you can actually talk to them on an off with the switch that is built into the front of the case. You've also got an extremely solid five and a quarter inch bay door up at the front that conceals five 5 in a quarter-inch bays. It has a very solid feel to it and closes with a satisfying funk because it is magnetized. So quite like the front of the case. The last thing to note about the front is that the removable piece that gives us access to those fans has a removable cleanable fan filter that's got to have a complex designed to it. You would just I guess run the whole thing under water supposed to removing the actual filter from the front piece because the way it is constructed allows the front bottom air vents like the side front bottom air vents to intake air and still have to be filtered in addition to any air that's coming through the front of the case which brings us to the top which is also gorgeous brushed aluminum finish, two USB 2.0 ports two USB 3.0 ports, have little rubber covers on them that will get lost immediately, power reset switch, as well as that LED control switch that controls not only the LEDs on those front fans and the LED strip but also can control additional LED fans in the case.

How to fix Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Cooler Noise

My six-core rig is now running but I have problems with the AMD stock cooler. It seems that my motherboard’s (Gigabyte GA 890GPA-UD3H) CPU fan control push the fans speed to higher limits that it starts to make noise when the computer runs for a longer time or when it starts. I have already used the Easy Tune 6 utility from Gigabyte and though I controlled the speed of the fans, it will still run up to 6000 rpm when the computer boots. Therefore, I decided to find a quieter CPU cooler. I ran to the computer shop and the only CPU cooler that they have is the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. I was only thinking of an air cooler but the time I saw the box, I was indulge to it. Liquid cooling system is not really my first choice because it is more expensive. However, we the alarming noise I am experiencing on my new six-core PC, I have no reason not to buy it. I admit the installation manual and even the forums I read on the internet were a little bit confusing, but I still managed to instal

How To Install Steam OS Without UEFI motherboard

I will teach you how to install Steam OS into your motherboard that does not have UEFI bios. The default Steam OS installation requires UEFI bios or it will not work. I did some Googling and found a way to bypass that and everything works perfectly afterwards. It is just slightly more difficult but do not worry. For those who do not know what steam OS is, it is an operating system created by Valve. It is a Linux with Debian Weezy on top and can run Linux programs if you want to.
