Cherry Mobile Thunder 2.0 - Full Specs, Price in the Philippines

This is the second version of the Thunder-model Android phone by Cherry Mobile. From a 4.5” display to a wide 5.0” FWVGA Capacitive Display, you can now watch videos, play games, and use applications in a wider screen.

From a flat 1.0 Ghz speed to a 1.2Ghz Quadcore MediaTek MT6589 Processor, you can now multi-task with a bigger headroom. If you want to run heavy and multiple applications at the same, this Android phone will make your work easier. Moreover, the PowerVR SGX 544 GPU Samsung Exynos will handle the graphics for your multimedia or even gaming.

This phone also uses Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as its operating system. This is the latest Android version so far and reviewed to produce better performance and a cleaner look. This phone is just right for the Jelly Bean upgrade.

With the Dual SIM/Dual Standby technology, you can now use two networks at the same time without feeling the barriers between them and do multiple transactions over two networks on the go.

This phone supports lots of multimedia formats, MP3, and Games. When it comes to data connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, WAP, MMS, Bluetooth, and USB Port for PC connectivity. From the 5MP camera, it has an 8MP for higher resolution results. When the phone is running, the 512 MB RAM handles the job and the 4GB internal handles the storage. You can however upgrade to a Micro SD with up to 32 GB capacity.

We do not have the price for this phone yet but we are guessing that this would be in the 5,000 bracket. The Cherry Mobile Festival 2013 promo priced the Thunder version 1 to 4,499 pesos from 4,999 pesos. We might expect that the price of the version 2 will be just close to this.

We are not sure if this phone is already available to the provincial branches but we will update this post and will give you a list of stores where you can purchase this budget but cool Android phone.

Review: This is another affordable Cherry Mobile android phone. Specs-wise and size-wise, this phone is pretty much the best savings for you. It is like having a Google Nexus android phone with half the price. However, we have heard feedbacks about the quality of Cherry Mobile Phones especially when they fall or accidentally mishandled. If you want to buy this phone, just make sure you can handle things careful enough. If you can, you will enjoy this high-tech phone.

How to listen to WhatsApp voice message before sending it and read web messages without opening chat

WhatsApp launched a useful feature, which allows you to record a voice message without the need to keep the icon pressed, and in addition, listen to the audio before sending it. At the moment, it is only available for iOS devices (iPhones) and will soon be available for the Android operating system. The audios became one of the main resources to feed conversations on WhatsApp, especially among younger users. But how does this new option work? It is very simple: you have to keep the microphone button located on the right side next to the text field pressed and move it upwards to start recording without the need to keep the icon pressed. When you finish talking, you have to click on contact information (above) and in this way the recording is paused. And then you go back, that is to the field of conversation and you can listen to the audio before sending it. It should be noted that you can continue talking, you just have to do the same, press the button and pull it up again. ...

How to Play CrossFire Philippines like a Pro (Tutorial with video)

CrossFire Philippines is an online first person shooting game which resembles the old CounterStrike. However, this online game has lots of purchasable items and you can create a character or an account which will increase in rank every time you play. Missions and Clan Wars are also key parts of this game in which players could play up to 8 versus 8 persons divided in two teams – blacklist and global risks. SmileGate developed the game from Korea which is known to be a great developer of this sort of games. Neowiz made it available around the globe and Gameclub published it here in the Philippines. This game became very famous and attractive to online gamers because of its graphics quality (realistic environment and effects) and the creation of personal accounts. I believe lots of young ones in the country are getting addicted with this game. What I really love with this game is the ranking. I am now a “Captain” in this game and it always makes me feel good to increase my leve...

How to fix Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Cooler Noise

My six-core rig is now running but I have problems with the AMD stock cooler. It seems that my motherboard’s (Gigabyte GA 890GPA-UD3H) CPU fan control push the fans speed to higher limits that it starts to make noise when the computer runs for a longer time or when it starts. I have already used the Easy Tune 6 utility from Gigabyte and though I controlled the speed of the fans, it will still run up to 6000 rpm when the computer boots. Therefore, I decided to find a quieter CPU cooler. I ran to the computer shop and the only CPU cooler that they have is the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. I was only thinking of an air cooler but the time I saw the box, I was indulge to it. Liquid cooling system is not really my first choice because it is more expensive. However, we the alarming noise I am experiencing on my new six-core PC, I have no reason not to buy it. I admit the installation manual and even the forums I read on the internet were a little bit confusing, but I still managed to instal...
