How to Write a Blog Post on Blogger’s New Interface 2012

As I said before, you need to write your first post right after you created your blog for faster search engine indexing (which means getting your blog in Google Search). In the first place, you are here to blog so you should start right away.

Blogger’s New Interface this 2012 is a little bit different to the old interface. So, here’s our guide on how to create a blog post:

1. First, in your Blogger dashboard click “Start Posting” in your freshly created blog or click the orange button (Create New Post button) if you already have posts in your blog.

2. Second, you will be forwarded to the “new post” writing interface. Before anything else, you need to familiarize the interface first.

3. Third, on the Title bar, type the desired title of your blog post.

4. Fourth, you can choose Compose to bring the rich text editor or HTML to bring the HTML editor. If you want to style your text without worrying about codes, choose the Compose option. If you want to put additional HTML codes or scripts inside your post, choose the HTML editor. Always remember that the search engine wants quality and unique articles, so you should write your own – they also love multimedia posts, so you should add images, links, videos, and professional style to your posts.

5. Fifth, modify the Post Settings to your preference – Labels (tag or topic of your post), Schedule (if you want to set a date and time for the publication of that post, Permalink (if you want to edit the URL of the post), Location (significant place of the post), and Options (you can allow comments, and put line breaks automatically).

6. Sixth, click the desired Post Options – You can publish right away, Save for later publication, Preview how it looks, or Close to quit the post editor. If you click Publish, you will be forwarded to your “Blog Posts” page where you can see all your posts (published or drafts). Hover the title of your post and click VIEW.

7. Seventh, it is always suggested to proofread your post after posting it so that you can correct grammar or typing mistakes.

8. Eight, you can click Edit Post button (the Pencil image) below your post if you want some modifications. You can edit your posts anytime and no matter how many times you want. However, we suggest you only do minor changes from time to time if it is already indexed and do not even think to delete your post if you don’t like it because it will become a broken link (after it is indexed). The best thing to do is to edit your post in a way you finally like it.

OPTIMIZING TIPS:

You can start talking about your blog as your first article. I am sure you have much to say in that post and it has an SEO (search engine) value too. In your first post, you can start optimizing your blog right away by mentioning your keywords two times in bold text with a link to your homepage or URL, writing a not lesser than 300-words article, and putting an image that corresponds to your blog (use your keyword as the image caption and alt tag).

Wait for 24 hours and visit Copyscape.com. Copy the URL or address of your blog (for example myblog.blogspot.com) and paste it to the Copyscape test box. Press GO in order to run a test if your article is unique enough (not copied elsewhere). If it says, “No results found for Name of Your Blog,” you are in the right track.

Professional formatting of articles involves putting numbered steps, bullets, well-indented paragraphs, captivating sub titles, and educational information.

Learn how to put a link in text:

Just highlight a certain word or group of words in the post editor (Compose Options) and then click the Add or remove LINK button. Put the desired URL to the box where it says (To What URL should this link go?). You can tick Open in a New Window so that visitors would not leave your site if they click that link. You can also tick the Add ‘rel=nofollow’ attribute if you do not want to vote for that site. Learn more about the importance of Linking in your Blog post here.

Learn how to put images and alt tags:

In Compose option, click the Insert Image Button. A menu box will open asking you where to get the image. The best way for SEO is to upload an image from your computer. You can find free distribution images online if you want and save it to your computer before uploading it to your blog post. Click CHOOSE FILES and find where you saved your image in your computer. Once you find it, select it, and click OPEN. The image will automatically upload to Google’s image host Picasa free. Click the image and press ADD SELECTED button. The image is now on your post.

Learn how to add a video on blog post later. UPDATE: You can now only embed videos from sites like Youtube and Dailymotion. You can't upload videos to Blogger directly.

How to fix Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Cooler Noise

My six-core rig is now running but I have problems with the AMD stock cooler. It seems that my motherboard’s (Gigabyte GA 890GPA-UD3H) CPU fan control push the fans speed to higher limits that it starts to make noise when the computer runs for a longer time or when it starts. I have already used the Easy Tune 6 utility from Gigabyte and though I controlled the speed of the fans, it will still run up to 6000 rpm when the computer boots. Therefore, I decided to find a quieter CPU cooler. I ran to the computer shop and the only CPU cooler that they have is the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. I was only thinking of an air cooler but the time I saw the box, I was indulge to it. Liquid cooling system is not really my first choice because it is more expensive. However, we the alarming noise I am experiencing on my new six-core PC, I have no reason not to buy it. I admit the installation manual and even the forums I read on the internet were a little bit confusing, but I still managed to instal

How To Install Steam OS Without UEFI motherboard

I will teach you how to install Steam OS into your motherboard that does not have UEFI bios. The default Steam OS installation requires UEFI bios or it will not work. I did some Googling and found a way to bypass that and everything works perfectly afterwards. It is just slightly more difficult but do not worry. For those who do not know what steam OS is, it is an operating system created by Valve. It is a Linux with Debian Weezy on top and can run Linux programs if you want to.
