How to Change your Template in Blogger’s New Interface

You have selected a template for your blog during the creation process in Blogger. However, you might decide to change it later on because you might get bored about it or felt that the template is not really the right one for your blog. Templates also play a big in search engine optimization. The best SEO practice is to choose an easy-to-load, no flash, mobile-friendly, HTML and CSS certified, and can be easily modified template. Because of that, we suggest using Blogger sponsored templates or templates from trusted source. Here is our guide on how to change your template anytime you want:

1. Click the name of your blog you want to edit in your Blogger Dashboard.

2. Then, click Template on the left side of the interface.

3. Right below the live display of your active template, scroll down to select a desired template.

4. There are seven template categories. You can choose from Dynamic Views, Simple, Picture Window, Awesome Inc., Watermark, Ethereal, and Travel.

5. After you choose a category, you can choose from the variations of template under it. You can point the mouse over the specific template that you want and as you see the “Apply to Blog” button, click it and that will automatically be your active template. That is it!

6. You can check the look of your blog by just scrolling up on the “Live on Blog” preview. If you like the change, you are done.

What if you want to have the Classic Template (Older Version)?

1. You are still in the Template page, just scroll down until you reach the bottom part where it says, “Revert to Classic Template.” Click it and click another button with the same text displayed below it.

2. The classic template will now be applied in your blog.

What if you want to have a template from another source?

In the old interface, you can easily do this by just uploading the template file (.xml) to Blogger. In the New Interface, there is no upload version anymore so you need to do this manually.

1. Download the desired template from its website source. I have been downloading great templates from Btemplates.com before. They offer free downloadable templates. Just click Download, in your Downloads folder, find the file, and then unzip it.

2. After the file is unzipped, you can now see the (.xml) file which contains the HTML code of the template. Right click this file and open with Notepad. Copy the contents or the codes inside the Notepad document.

3. In the Template page of your Blogger blog, click HTML below the Live on Blog preview.

4. There will be a warning note. Just click Proceed.

5. You can now see the HTML code of your active template. Erase all the contents inside the box and paste the contents of the Notepad document you copied earlier.

6. Click Preview to see what would be the result. If you like it, click SAVE Template. Congratulations! You have now successfully used a template from another source.

After selecting the right template for your blog, you can also customize it for better look and usage. Just click the Customize button under the Live on Blog preview.

How to fix Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Cooler Noise

My six-core rig is now running but I have problems with the AMD stock cooler. It seems that my motherboard’s (Gigabyte GA 890GPA-UD3H) CPU fan control push the fans speed to higher limits that it starts to make noise when the computer runs for a longer time or when it starts. I have already used the Easy Tune 6 utility from Gigabyte and though I controlled the speed of the fans, it will still run up to 6000 rpm when the computer boots. Therefore, I decided to find a quieter CPU cooler. I ran to the computer shop and the only CPU cooler that they have is the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. I was only thinking of an air cooler but the time I saw the box, I was indulge to it. Liquid cooling system is not really my first choice because it is more expensive. However, we the alarming noise I am experiencing on my new six-core PC, I have no reason not to buy it. I admit the installation manual and even the forums I read on the internet were a little bit confusing, but I still managed to instal

How To Install Steam OS Without UEFI motherboard

I will teach you how to install Steam OS into your motherboard that does not have UEFI bios. The default Steam OS installation requires UEFI bios or it will not work. I did some Googling and found a way to bypass that and everything works perfectly afterwards. It is just slightly more difficult but do not worry. For those who do not know what steam OS is, it is an operating system created by Valve. It is a Linux with Debian Weezy on top and can run Linux programs if you want to.
