How to connect your blog to your Google plus profile and page in Blogger New Interface

Social Networking is very effective in SEO and internet marketing. Moreover, Blogger helps us to maximize that by adding the Google plus (+) profile and page connection to the platform. This means after you created your Blogger account, you will automatically have a Google plus profile and a chance to have a Google plus page. Here is how to connect them:

1. In your Blogger Dashboard, click the name of the blog you want to connect.

2. Click the Google + menu at the left side of the interface.

3. You can decide to connect your Google plus profile or not. If you choose to connect it, the Google account you used for Blogger will automatically your Google plus account. You can also edit your Google plus profile here (https://plus.google.com/).

If this is your first time to use your Google plus account, you can start by adding people or friends; add your profile photo and some information about you. Be sure to read Google’s Privacy Policy here (http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/).

4. Check the radio that says; “Prompt to share after posting” so that you will know what to share or not to your Google plus profile. This means after you publish your post, a prompt will be shown allowing you to share your post to your circle or not. Always remember that sharing a post to lots of people will give you a chance for more visitors.

5. You can also connect your blog to your Google plus page. Click CREATE A NEW PAGE button below the page. This is like creating a Facebook page if you tried it already.

Choose the category of your page from Local Business to Sports. Add some information and start using your Google plus page. You can also have the chance to publish your blog posts automatically to your Google plus page.
