How to Monetize your blog with Blogger’s New Interface

Blogger and Google always make things easier for those who want to earn online. There are two options for you provided in the Earnings menu: Google AdSense and Affiliate Ads. AdSense will enable you to display ads relevant to your blog content and earn through clicks and views. Affiliate Ads enables you to advertise products or services from companies in the Google affiliate network and earn through shares of purchases or subscriptions. Both programs pay through your Google AdSense account. This means you only need to sign-up an AdSense account and enjoy both programs.

How to start from Blogger:

1. Log-in your Blogger account.

2. Choose the blog that you want to monetize. For easy approval in the AdSense program, you need to have a quality blog. Based on my experience, you need at least a three-month old blog with 30 unique (not copied from anywhere else online) posts having 300 plus word (text) contents per article. You also need to have an “About this blog” page in your homepage showing what really is the blog about and prepare a “Privacy Policy” page (a post announcing that you are an affiliate of Google and this network collect some computer data from users in order to serve ads) too. Lastly, make sure navigating and reading your blog are easy for average users.

TIP: AdSense prioritizes review, informative, tutorial, and tips blogs.

3. Click the “Earnings” menu at the right side of the Blogger’s New Interface.

4. Assuming that you do not have an AdSense account yet, you need to click the “Get Started” button on top of page in order to apply your blog. Make sure your blog is ready for application as stated in step 2 and as short as 3 days, AdSense will approve your application.

5. There is a video below in that page that you watch in order to learn more about Google AdSense program, how it works, and its latest features. You can also read more about AdSense Terms and Conditions here.

6. Sign up with AdSense by submitting your personal information, your address, or phone number in order to receive the PIN from Google (verification purposes). Make sure every detail you submit is real and correct. Submit your blog for review. You might receive an email notification to the email you used in the submission 24 hours after the submission if your blog passed the preliminary test. If your blog passed the preliminary review, you need to add some AdSense ad codes (from a temporary AdSense account) in your blog in order to prove your ownership. Once you are showing ads in your blog, AdSense will continue the review until they find your blog worthy of inclusion in the program. If AdSense rejects your application, improve your blog with more quality content or choose a simpler template, then submit again. I was accepted within one 1 week prior to the application but some applications may take longer to be fully accepted.

7. If you are lucky and accepted in the program, login to AdSense. Choose and ad style (image or text) and size. Get the codes. Paste the codes to Notepad first.

8. Open Blogger, go to Layout, and add a Gadget. Choose HTML/Java Script option. You do not need to put anything on the Title. Back at the codes in your notepad, you can put simple codes to it in order to center it or left align it in your page. However, you cannot edit the actual code because it is against AdSense Terms. Paste the final code to the content of the gadget. Click Save. Then click Save Arrangement for your new layout. After 5-10 minutes, you can now see the ads in your blog. You can go back to Layout if you want to edit your ad placement. You can also edit the Blog Posts gadget in your Layout and just tick the “Show Ads between Posts” option in order to put ads near to your content. Only three ad blocks allowed in one blog and you must at least show one image ad.

9. Optimize your posts for the search engines, share your posts to popular social networking sites, and updates your blog frequently in order to gain lots of traffic. Huge traffic will eventually produce huge earnings. Topics about lawyers, online schools, hotels, and finance are highly priced by AdSense. Be serious with your blog and you will harvest from all your hard work.

10. You will receive the PIN code or verification letter after your total earnings reach $10. Verify your account using the 6-number PIN. If you verified your account before that the 15th of that month, you can start receiving payments at the end of that month. If you are in the Philippines, the best way to receive payments is through Western Union cash transfer. You are only required with one government-issued ID to claim the money.

How to fix Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Cooler Noise

My six-core rig is now running but I have problems with the AMD stock cooler. It seems that my motherboard’s (Gigabyte GA 890GPA-UD3H) CPU fan control push the fans speed to higher limits that it starts to make noise when the computer runs for a longer time or when it starts. I have already used the Easy Tune 6 utility from Gigabyte and though I controlled the speed of the fans, it will still run up to 6000 rpm when the computer boots. Therefore, I decided to find a quieter CPU cooler. I ran to the computer shop and the only CPU cooler that they have is the Antec Kuhler H2O 620. I was only thinking of an air cooler but the time I saw the box, I was indulge to it. Liquid cooling system is not really my first choice because it is more expensive. However, we the alarming noise I am experiencing on my new six-core PC, I have no reason not to buy it. I admit the installation manual and even the forums I read on the internet were a little bit confusing, but I still managed to instal

How To Install Steam OS Without UEFI motherboard

I will teach you how to install Steam OS into your motherboard that does not have UEFI bios. The default Steam OS installation requires UEFI bios or it will not work. I did some Googling and found a way to bypass that and everything works perfectly afterwards. It is just slightly more difficult but do not worry. For those who do not know what steam OS is, it is an operating system created by Valve. It is a Linux with Debian Weezy on top and can run Linux programs if you want to.
